Seafood-driven Arizona restaurant to open 9,263-SF jewel-box location at Central Park Two, energizing the campus’s mixed-use evolution
(HOUSTON, TX) – Midway, together with 3Edgewood and Parkway, today announced that Buck & Rider, a Scottsdale-based acclaimed seafood-driven restaurant, has leased approximately 9,263 square feet at Central Park Post Oak, marking Hi Noon Hospitality’s first restaurant opening in Texas. Buck & Rider will occupy a single-story "jewel box" space with patio seating on the expanded ground floor of Central Park Two at the corner of Ambassador Way and Post Oak Boulevard, across from The Annie Café & Bar and Turner’s. The restaurant will serve as a new focal point for dining and gathering within the evolving mixed-use campus.
Buck & Rider is known for flying impeccably fresh seafood from around the world seven days a week, sourcing directly from trusted fishers to serve just-caught fish and shellfish, complemented by a proprietary reserve beef selection, signature cocktails, and an extensive wine and beer program. With three thriving locations in Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and Gilbert, Arizona, Buck & Rider has become a local favorite for its lively patios, weekend brunch, and everyday happy hour. The Central Park Post Oak location will bring this polished yet welcoming dining experience to Houston, showcasing the brand's commitment to thoughtfully sourced ingredients and vibrant hospitality in a design-forward space that enlivens the streetscape.
“Houston, similar to Phoenix, has a diverse and growing food scene. We’re excited to expand Buck & Rider to another coastalcity, following our first opening outside of Arizona in Naples, Florida, later this year,” said Adam Strecker, CEO and Founding Partner of Hi Noon Hospitality. “Our expansion to Houston is a strategic growth initiative tobring our proven concept to another market that shares our values of quality, hospitality, and coastal culture.”
"Buck & Rider's decision to establishits first Texas location at Central Park Post Oak reinforces the power ofpairing premier office tenancy with destination dining," said Clayton Freels, Executive Vice President, Midway. "Together with The Henry and Sparrow Italia, Buck & Rider will create a dynamic collection of culinary-forward restaurants that serve office users, visitors, and the broaderUptown community."
At Central Park Post Oak, Buck & Rider will join The Henry, Fox Restaurant Concepts' modern American eatery, and Sparrow Italia, the Italian-inspired steakhouse by global hospitality group Noble33, creating a trio of chef-led dining concepts. The addition of Buck & Rider builds on strong leasing momentum at the 17-acre mixed-use campus, which has secured more than 182,000 square feet of new office leases since April 2024. Recent office commitments include TDECU's approximately 125,000-square-foot headquarters space in Central Park One, BBVA's 20,000-square-foot full-floor lease in Central Park Two, and new leases with Renewa (13,051 square feet), Terra Energy Partners (7,652 square feet), and Houston Business Journal (4,326 square feet).

“Buck & Rider brings high-quality, daily-rotating, freshly caught seafood in a welcoming environment,” said Zach Sarver, 3Edgewood. “Adding this experience to the project strengthens the day-to-daylife of our office tenants and adds something genuinely special toHouston.”
With Buck & Rider joining The Henry and Sparrow Italia for a combined restaurant footprint of more than 22,000 square feet, Central Park Post Oak is rapidly evolving into a vibrant, walkable destination that blends next-generation office with curated dining and retail. The broader redevelopment will deliver more than 150,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, including 60,000 square feet of new construction, alongside 1.2 million square feet of Class A office, enhanced green spaces, convenient on-street parking, and improved connections along Post Oak Boulevard.
